Food is always delicious. All of the vegetables are good and the smothered pork chops and fried catfish are always perfect. For today's order, we requested 5 Al la carte servings of 4 different vegetables and transferred them to our serving bowls with an accompanying tray of six smothered pork chops - a perfect sit down Sunday lunch for 6. It was delicious.

Magnolia Room Cafeteria does chicken livers right!! My last order was crispy, a few onions, in other words, ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! Large portions, fresh livers (not dried up little acorns). I try to order every Thursday!!

The smothered pork chop was out of this world! My teenage daughter got the 4veggie plate and was very impressed with it (deviled eggs, cabbage, collards, and cornbread). My hubby got the fried catfish meal, and wished there were two pieces. Will absolutely return here when I'm craving real food but don't want to cook it myself...would order again and recommend it to anyone.

The people at the restaurant are jewels! The food is always delicious! I feel like I am at my Granny's when I eat here. I love the Four Veggie Plate -collards, turnips, mac n cheese, sweet potato souffle, and jalepeno cornbread! Welcome to the South! lol

I haven't had food like this years. As a true southerner, a native Georgian, I almost cried. The turnip greens and mac and cheese were unreal. It took me back to the old cafes and kitchens I grew up with. The kind of food only grannies and great aunties can cook.
