The only spot in SF that you actually get your money's worth and it's DELICIOUS! I swear they give you a pound of chicken katsu every time!

The BBQ Mix Plate was mediocre. The short ribs were very dry and tough, with a strange sour taste. The bbq beef was also dry and bland. The chicken was fine, but also kind of bland. Overall, very disappointing. Definitely would not order again.

Loco moco was a bit disappointing. Rice was mushy and gravy was tasteless. Both eggs were broken. Asked for the mac salad separate so it didn't get warm. They put it in a tiny dip cup and then put that in the food so it still got warm.

Sent wrong order, salad was soggy and had a sour taste like it was already going bad, and the BBQ Chicken had hard chewy parts to it and was slightly hard and not soft or fresh. I wouldnt recommend, go to L&L Haiiwan the original thats always fresh and so good.

Chicken Katsu was crispy and juicy. Spot on for Katsu. Sauce was not overly tangy or salty. BBQ Mix was a little soggy. Cabbage bed was soaked in teriyaki like juices. The run off got mixed in with the mac salad to make the little macaronis turn brown and very salty. Short ribs were ok. I wish I had more shortribs relative to the BBQ chicken.
