• 5/23/26I've been going to Mahan ever since I moved to the area three years ago. Since then, it's become my go-to when I'm looking to celebrate with a deeply fulfilling meal or eat something comforting. I'd eat anything off their menu every day if I could afford it honestly- delicious af. Appreciate all the care the team there puts into their craft and welcoming service! It's especially rewarding visiting in person on a night out in Old Town Monrovia.

• 9/10/25Goat Biryani had large pieces of bone that were jagged and cut my mouth. Be very careful when eating. Flavor was good but the sharp bones were not. Ended up havingto pick through very carefully.

I’ve been ordering from Mahan for years—well over 100 times—and just tried them through DoorDash for the first time. They continue to be outstanding.
My order arrived quickly, on time, and still hot and fresh. The food is consistently delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. As someone with a severe dairy allergy, I especially appreciate how seriously they take food prep. I’ve never had an issue with their vegan dishes, which speaks volumes about their clean kitchen practices and attention to detail.
It’s clear that the owners and staff really care about what they do—and about their customers. After many years, Mahan is still my go-to, and I’m grateful they’re here.
I can't recommend this place highly enough.
