Hands down the BEST Indian food in the city! And it was incredibly hot and fresh even after the delivery time and having to wait to put our baby down to eat it. The samosas are so big! They are flavor bombs of goodness. The basmati rice is so classically well done. The chicken tikka is our basic go to and it's always done so well, the chicken is seasoned and tender, cooked to perfection. The sauce is a symphony of flavors and the texture is so velvety and warm. The medium has the perfect amount of tingly spice. If you're shy to spicy get the mild! The garlic naan is a very large portion and seasoned so well. When we splurge for Door Dash we'll always choose Maharaja as our favorite place for exceptional food!

The naan was really good. The rice was good as well. The Mixed Grill was dry but a lot of meat. The Tikka Masala was great in flavor, but the portion of rice to masala needs adjusting. Had plenty of rice left over and not enough masala. Flavor I'd give 4.5/5, portions 3.75/5, value 2.0/5. Good to try, but for the cost and what we received, we will try someplace else.

the Butter Makhani was sweet, not sure what that's about, more like a korma flavor even though it was the right color. The Mulligatawny Soup had an odd texture, kind of an odd grainy/sandy texture and the taste does not make up for it. considering the price both items were a huge waste. the Garlic Butter Naan was good, that's the only thing i'd recommend from he items I tried. I definitely expected more since the price is at the high end of Indian food. go to Jaipur for food that is actually good when you are paying for something over priced

Paneer Vindaloo was good but for the price,I expected a little more pieces. Chappati was good, soft with crispy, toasted parts. I don't recommend the Tamarind Chutney, it just tasted like ketchup, needs more tamarind.

This wasn't our first time trying Maharaja, but the experience is always the same!!! The food is so fresh and has such great flavor. I saw some other reviews about how little chicken they got, but I shared the Butter Makhani with my son and we had plenty of chicken! I love the onions and peppers in that dish too. Will really miss this place when we leave Omaha.
