The portions are great! Also food is phenomenal I've ordered at least 5 times already. It's become some of my favorite food. The One person taste of Ethiopia is so delicious, plus you get a great variety. I usually get two full meals out of one order as well. Highly recommend!!

This is the best Ethiopian restaurant in SLC by far. They always have excellent food and big portions. Great options for vegetarians as well, but I recommend the taste of Mahider for anyone trying for the first time. Keep in mind you will have leftovers even if you order the one person serving.

Some of the best injera I've ever had. The tikil gomen and tomato salad add a wonderful texture and savory freshness to the combo plates. the kitfo is always extremely fresh and generously portioned, with fresh, flavorful ayib (traditional cheese). Ordering from Mahider has become a weekly ritual!

5-Stars--Absolutely incredible! The flavors in every dish are bursting with authentic spices and rich, aromatic goodness. The injera was perfectly soft and spongy, pairing beautifully with the variety of stews and meats. 10/10
