First time ordering from them, and first time trying the Egusi Soup and my daughter and I had our own order of it. We absolutely love it! The price is very fair and the portions are perfect! So flavorful. We love fufu and soups and are happy to find our new favorite spot for this dish. Thank you!!!!

Egusi soup was flavorless, and the fish only came with a 3 oz cup of slaw , For $20 it's not worth it .

i ordered BOTH egusi & okra soup. The Egusi Soup was PHENOMENAL. The okra soup was not BUT if you LOVE okra this soup is great for you I just feel it was toooo much okra. The pounded yam was amazing as well! My only issue is the meat was reheated- you can tell... especially with fish. I'd advise the restaurant to PLEASE let go of meat the night before- only make meat upon order if money is an issue. Y can taste the difference and the recooked / reheated meat reallllyyy made the entre dishes not well. Also use drumsticks instead of thighs for chicken. It makes it easier to add the chicken to the entree rather than eating separately. The meat pie was not good at all. I would order the egusi again but nothing else. The egusi portion was SLIM while the okra was large and that was also disappointing. For the amount paid I'd wish the egusi was filled to the top but it absolutely was not. Also swallow should be optional to add onto an entree and not mandatory. $4 for swallow when you can go to a store and buy a full box of that amount is CRAZY! Everything seemed fresh but the meat! I LOVE AFRICAN food and moved here from Chicago. My comment is not as a picky eater but rather an African cuisine connoisseur. I LOVEEEEEE African food especially palm butter stew - I hope my comment is taken into consideration. For the price things should be adjusted.

The Ayamase Stew (Peppered) was not exactly as it looks like here. it's more reddish, but it tasted very good. my only issue was the portion being small for the price. it went well with white rice i cooked. the Fried Beef was one piece only but was tender and nice. will appreciate if the portions are increased a bit

I love this place! The food is always fresh and the flavors are a 10/10. The atmosphere is very welcoming and so is the staff, they take their time and answer any and every question. The Food is so good I love the ayamase it is the favorite along with the egusi and pounded yam I will be a returning customer.
