Mango’s Grill was founded by a Venezuelan family from Maracaibo and opened its doors to provide the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex with the best tasting Venezuelan food people have ever tried.
The food is great, but they never give enough salsa, so that's why I had to give 4 stars. My husband is Venezuelan and you know, Venezuelans love their salsa. I like the Empanada de Queso con Papa and my husband likes the Empanada de Carne Mechada. If you're new to trying Venezuelan food, the Bandeja Venezuela Tour is a good choice! But you really can't go wrong with getting an arepa. Venezuelan arepas are way better than Colombian arepas. I said what I said! ;)

Plantains are too dark and dry.
Wouldn't order again bc of those issues..
Empanada is ONE?? For that price and pic they posted I thought I would get more than one...looks good at least..
I'd go in to get food and not order online so if I had issues like this I'd get it made right at store

Quisiera dar una sugerencia sobre mi pedido por delivery: noté que la carne mechada venía con poca cantidad y la caraota podría mejorar en sabor. Creo que con un poco más de atención a estos detalles, la comida podría ser mucho más disfrutable

I love cachapas so 10/10. The EMPANADAS are so good 15/10. The pastelito is ok 6/10. The salsa rosa or mayoketchup is the go to sauce for everything. And the tequeños are 9/10. Overall 10/10. In this review I'm reviewing La empanada de pollo mechado, el pastelito de queso con papa, la cachapa con pernil y los tequeños.

Traditional Cachapa was aweful, the cheese reminded me of play doh!!! Yucky 🤮 threw it in the trash...
Empanada Queso Con Papa was nasty too, basically unbuttered mashed potatoes!!!
Empanada carne Mechada was fine, it had a bunch of beef in it, but needed something else.....like cheddar cheese or queso....
I'm sure I won't be ordering from here again...a waste of 35$
