I had the oxtails with cabbage and rice and beans. They give pretty hearty portions everytime. My food was freshly made to order. It truly tastes as good as it looks. The oxtail meal is one of my favorite dishes from Mark's place. I'll be ordering again and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for some authentic , delicious and filling caribbean food made with love in Asbury Park.

I've tried it again but I'm done after this. Large Oxtail came with small pieces of meat. Flavor ok on actual meat. No flavor at all on rice. Plantain was oily and not good. Beef patty was good but can't make up for everything else. Sad because the place used to be so good.

Best authentic Jamaican food in the area! The Oxtail dinner with cabbage and plantains was fantastic and the portions are great for the price. The order was prepared and delivered fast. I will definitely continue to order from Mark's Place.

Great food, good service, good portions and good vibes. The oxtail, jerk chicken and stew chicken are always on point. They have this great tasting carrot juice which is addictive but I think it's seasonal. But when they have it, I buy it! I've been a customer for many years and have never been disappointed.

The Stew chicken is very tender and flavorful. Mark's place serves hefty portions and quality food at reasonable prices. Their food is always fresh. They don't miss. I'll be ordering again tomorrow!
