never tried this place before so I added extra meat and pita boy I probably didn't have to! the plate was stuffed full, the spanakipita was huge compared to other places, falafel exceeded my expectations,gyro meat tender and delicious, rice mild but well flavored.
will definitely be ordering again. can't wait to try more of the menu

This food so good I want to thank Maro himself. It was absolutely delicious. If I could eat this for every meal everyday I would. He put his whole heart and soul into this meal. My life is forever changed by how amazing this food was. Im telling everyone they need to hit up maro for all their gyro needs! It was amazing proportions I'm definitely going to get 2 meals out of it. The meat was perfect, the salad was amazing, the cucumber sauce was perfect if I could rate you a 100/5 I would. It was so amazingly good. If you're debating between here and somewhere else CHOOSE HERE!

I've gone here pretty regularly since I first tried Maro's at the beginning of 2026. Shoot, it's been less than a month, and I've gone at least 4 times. It's the best restaurant in the Smyrna/La Vergne area! Maybe others offer frills or a higher price, but for the flavors, portion, and quality you get at Maro's price, it's unbeatable. I love this spot. If you're scrolling through the DoorDash app and find yourself here, stop and place an order - you won't regret it!

Literally the best Gyro platter in Smyrna. So fresh & flavorful. The amount of food for the price is amazing. 10/10 would order again!

the food is good, however they troed to charge me $3 extra for onions and peppers. i always get onions and peppers and have never been charged extra at any other similar restaurant
