Very flavorful and fresh! This is my new go-to spot whether I'm at home or work. Every item in this dinner (pork chops, mashed potatoes, and string beans) was seasoned perfectly!

turkey wing was well cooked with plenty gravy. Mac and cheese was exactly how I like it, more baked than creamy/runny. greens were good.
chicken and fries must have been cooked quite a few hours prior as they were not fresh. chicken was seasoned.

The chicken was fried over hard with old oil. the only reason I'm giving 2 stars is that the meat itself was tender and juicy but I get fried chicken specifically for the skin and that part was inedible. The amount of fries received for 2 8 piece orders of chicken was collectively the amount of maybe one large McDonald's fry. Not enough by far as a side for 16 pieces of chicken.
I was really excited to find a soul food place that had Salisbury steak. Again I was disappointed. It had the potential for good flavor if not for the half of container of salt dumped into it. Otherwise it was cooked well and juicy. The onions in it were cooked to perfection. I did pay the upcharge for the side of baked beans. I had assumed that because it was the only upcharged side, that it would be homemade beans with some bacon or pork and onions etc. It wasn't. It was just plain Jane canned baked beans. It was an extreme letdown.
Overall I would say that I appreciate that all the meat was tender and juicy but I will never order from this restaurant again.

This place is so great, love their yams and Mac & cheese. I haven't ordered in a while because every time I want to they're temporarily closed. But I hope they're still open so I can order again! Never had an issue with my orders (I've ordered A LOT!)

Pork chop sandich was either a little too thin or cooked just a couple of seconds too long. Spice and crust amazing
