Ex New Yorker here- These are the best bagels I have found so far in LA! The smear is light and whipped and the toppings are fresh and delicious. The #8 is my go to Sunday breakfast. I also love that have coffee too- I got the Vanilla Oat Iced Latte (non-dairy) its always good.

Love, love bagels with lox on a Sunday and these are the best around. We do the Build-a-Bagel with a pack of the Eastern Nova (1/4lb) lox on the side so we can distribute how we like it. The toppings on the open faced bagel are generous—lots of little cucumber slices and dark red ripe heirloom tomatoes. They even get the build order and presentation right so everything actually stays put when you bite into it. Perfectly chewy toasted bagels, and the lox has better flavor and smoke than any other I get around here. Favorite spot.

Best bagels in LA! Half & Half on an everything bagel — so yummy. I ordered Whitefish & Pastrami lox. Egg salad was small like the OJ. but the Sour Cream Almond Coffee Cake is big, moist, and delicious! 😍

The Bagel & Lox sandwich is a 4 out of 5. The bagel is really the best part. There was plenty of cream cheese too much for my liking. They skimped on the amour of lox in the sandwich about 1 ounce of lox-should be more. A couple of slivers of onion and a sprinkle of capers. Previously I've ordered an opened faced Lox bagel and it was a really great.
it can make for two meals so I recommend that option for the price.
i'd like to see them, include some paper napkins in the future.
The extra bagels I ordered because they really excel with their bagels.
The coffee is is ordinary.

The Bagel & Lox was exceptional. Perfection in its simplicity. The bagel itself was of great texture inside and out and the thickness was just right. The cream cheese's texture, flavor and amount was perfect. The right amount of lox was velvety and plentiful. The red onion was very thinly sliced and it was topped with fine chopped dill and minimal amount of capers. I have had countless of great and not so great lox bagel sandwiches all over the city and country but, this one topped them all. It wasn't piled up with unnecessary toppings that you find today with pickled onions, sprouts etc. which just convolute the whole thing. I usually order mine with sliced thin cucumbers but, here the right amount of finley chopped dill made the perfect contribution to the overall taste. Simply awesome.
