We've ordered twice from Maverick's and both times been blown away!! The Maverick's Cuban Sandwich is absolutely divine, the spicy meat, the delicious pulled pork piled high, the pickles, it is just fantastic!! The Roast Beef Sandwich is delicious; tender, soft meat and bun with lots of flavor. Onion Rings, Cole Slaw, cheese curds, every we've had has been amazing!! Super happy to have found this restaurant and beyond excited to support it!!

Maverick's is freaking delicious! So far, I've loved their brisket (juicy!), mashed potatoes and gravy, chicken and wild rice soup (very creamy and hearty), and potato cakes (have a bit of seasoning in them that makes them special). Even the buns on their sandwiches are buttery and flavorful. Their gravy especially is just fantastic, and they give a generous enough portion with their mashed potatoes that you can put some on your sandwich too. Their cheese curds are tasty, but nothing special. My daughter got the kids roast beef sandwich, and the roast beef was cut a little thicker than expected, but she still liked it. This restaurant is just fantastic and I'm excited to try more!

Second time getting Mashed Potatoes, they're so good. Buttery red potatoes with a thick beef gravy, quality simplicity that makes me think of my childhood. Tried new sandwiches this time.. the Maverick's Cuban Sandwich has super flavorful meat that pairs really well with the pickles and honey mustard, it was a little greasy and wet, but it was so good I just mopped it all up with the bread. But listen.. The Big Nasty.. BRO. SO GOOD. A lot of restaurants serve a dry plain unseasoned cheesesteak sandwich, so I never trust ordering something like this. A bite of THIS sandwich was good even without the cheese so I was already excited, it's flavored so nicely, but with the cheese, it's a brain melter. I would be sad that the sandwich wasn't just a little bit more full of meat and stuff, but I don't care, it's fantastic anyways. 10/10 gut buster meal.

Delicious and plentiful Open Face Brisket sandwich. The Beef Gravy is VERY salty, for my palate, but tasty. Potato Cakes could have been fried a bit crispier, but again, I suppose that's a matter of taste. The Cheese Curds seem like the type that comes right out of a bulk bag, nothing special, and not worth the price, but satiated the craving. Fountain drink is also rather small for the price.

The Potato Cakes were great better than fries. The Reuben Corned Beef Sandwich was hefty enough to hold me until dinner.
Good food for a great lunch.
