Good morning,
Firstly, please accept my apologies for providing this feedback. I recently came across a review from a customer who had placed a large order, only to arrive home and discover that not all items had been included. What resonated with me most was that some of the missing items were intended for their children.
Unfortunately, I experienced a similar situation myself last Thursday. While my missing item was only a dessert, it was still disappointing to discover once I arrived home. I fully appreciate that mistakes can happen due to human error or circumstances beyond an employee’s control, and I understand the challenges involved in a busy environment.
However, I find myself once again at home scratching my head, as this is not the first time I have encountered a missing item, and realistically it may not be the last. From what I have observed, there appear to be several checkpoints throughout the order preparation process. Staff members have access to order details on their screens, multiple team members are involved in assembling orders, and there is often a final check completed by a senior team member before the order is handed over, with the order details attached to the bag.
With that in mind, it can be difficult to understand how items are still occasionally missed. I apologise if this comes across as a generalisation, as that is not my intention.
I would also like to acknowledge that the vast majority of my experiences with Otara McDonald’s have been very positive. The service is generally excellent, and that is precisely why I continue to return as a customer. My feedback is intended constructively, in the hope that it may help identify opportunities for improvement and reduce the likelihood of similar experiences for other customers.

So I normally don't have issues with ordering from Ōtara McDonald's, they have been always good when I get mine, but just for this order, some of my items were not in one of the three bags I was given: one medium fries, one strawberry sundae and an apple pie. Similar to other reviews, if your order is big, the workers in charge of making sure the all items are in the bags may forget or not realize all items are in there (for whatever reason like not triple checking the order). So just a head ups for those of you doing big orders, at least leave an instruction for your order to make sure all items are in there for the workers to see and actually triple check. It sucks but please make sure all items are in there McDonalds.
