I ordered my meal on door dash at 8 something why weren't they fresh

The app didn't say the ice cream machine was down and I didn't get my Chocolate Shake. I had to call the store and they said either to go to the store for a refund or go back in a couple of days the machine should be working and they could give it to me then. Everything else was fine.
