Today, all items in my MCL order were delivered. Substitutions were well-chosen. Everything was hot and fresh. Each item was particularly well-prepared and delicious. Portions were full. Everything well-packaged, bagged, and intact. The food, today, was like MCL food was 15 yeas ago.

Except for tonight's Tartar Sauce, all other items were delicious, generous, and very well packaged. MCL, why are you now putting very large pieces of raw onion in your Tartar Sauce? They were in this order's Tartar Sauce and also in my order a few days ago? I have eaten your delicious Tartar Sauce since 1996. This version is quite nasty. The Beans and Ham were especially well prepared. Lots of pieces of ham with their fat and rind removed. Large center cut of cornbread.

These 2 bowls of MCl's Ham & Beans are completely different from all the many years I have eaten their Ham & Beans. Today's were very small navy beans with maybe 5 tiny pieces of ham. The container was the smaller soup bowl container with the flimsy see-through lid. Not the previous entrée-sized container with its secure lid. The consistency of the beans was like canned beans. A degradation of MCL's previously consistent recipe of larger white beans with many pieces of ham. Definitely not worth $8.99.

The liver and onions ordered was excellent! The liver was tender and the onions were nicely done. The mashed potatoes and corn on the cob complimented the meal. we ordered pecan pie and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Both desserts were great. The service was superb. The store manager is wonderful!

Each item, tonight, is especially well-prepared and delicious. My Fried Chicken (Light Meat) and Fried Chicken (Dark Meat) are perfectly fried - just right crispy. I watch for when MCL has Chocolate Cream Pie on Door Dash's menu. My pies are perfect.
