I don't write reviews normally for restaurants but I feel like I need to in case someone else makes the same mistakes as I did.

Maybe they're better when you dine in, but everything was rather bland and generic tasting. It seemed like you're paying for the sheer amount of food rather than the quality of cooking.

The chicken and waffles came with a sheet pan scrambled egg and chicken strips that don't resemble what I'd imagine fried chicken at all (thick flakey crust, golden brown even coating). The eggs Benedict had mush as a side that resembled frozen hash browns you buy at a grocery store with bland eggs Benedict (the eggs were cooked well though). The crepes were the best part with fresh fruit, and crepes that were well done. But there were just giant scoops of brown sugar that looks like the chef decided to use spoonfuls instead of incorporating it in the dish.

At $70 for three dishes? I would not go here again.

i usually go to the meli cafe in downtown Chicago located in the south loop every time I do go there they are always packed, and far as the breakfast it's amazing everything is cooked to your satisfaction...hands down so that's why they get 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me

This is not my usual location. The bacon was undercooked and the fruit was not fresh at all. I will go back to the location I trust for consistency. THIS one is NOT it!

This was the worst meli I have ever had and ive been going for years. Cheese wasnt even melted, the hash browns were hard, burnt and squashed into the corner.

My wife got the same thing and with the sam result.
