I ordered the Short Stack Combo. This was the best breakfast I've had in a while. Everything was cooked to perfection. There was definitely enough to share. I will be ordering this again.

the Mels Patty Melt (I had the grilled balsamic onion) with grilled potatoes - If I had to... I'd drive there to ge it. Rye was fresh and flavorful, burger was perfect medium. The Bomb Breakfast Burrito, well just look at it - she went with extra crispy grill potatoes -and flavors were spot on.

I am a bit disappointed in Mel's Diner. I say that the price was a good value. The ALL-AMERICAN SMASH BURGER was mid. It was cheesy enough. The flavor and crispiness of the smashburger was just ok. The fries were in edible to both myself and my coworker. In fact, she threw them away and picked at her burger. So, it wasn't just me. 😓
Sadly, although Mel's is one of my favorite, nostalgic spots on the West Coast, I will not be ordering from the Nashville location again.
The order was correct and on time. Portion size was decent. It was just the quality and freshness that was subpar.

For $8.50 I would at least expect the vessel to be 3/4 full. $8.50 is absurd.
