First off, the green beans are fantastic! Second, everyone should try the fish tacos! They are the best fish tacos I've had in Louisville! Kudos Merles!!!! 2 Thumbs up!! 👍🏽👍🏽💖

The Parmesan Garlic Fries were straight up bomb! They were flavorful, had a nice little crunch, and were a great portion for the price. The Kentucky Fried Avocado Taco and the Wild Mushroom Taco were both delicious, but I was not a fan of the Barbacoa Taco . The jackfruit lacked any texture and there were no other ingredients with chewiness or crunch to offset it. The El El Jefe Nachos were good, too. The queso used was more unique and really tasty. I've eaten at Merle's several times over the years, but this is the first time I've had it delivered. Based on this experience, I would do so again.

The first time I had the Mary Lou's KY Cornbread it was absolutely delicious. I shared it with co-workers and they couldn't believe how good it was. This last time I ordered, however, it was hard, dry and no where near the same flavor and texture as before. Very disappointing. Also, there were two items missing from my order.

Ordered three tacos and the Merle's Melt. Tacos were amazing - especially the Green Chili Pork and Al Pastor. The sauces were amazing! Wish they came double tortilla's though bc they fall part as soon as you pick them up. The Melt was nothing to write home about. Fries were cold, but that's to be expected when door dashing. Overall, would order again!

The Slow Cooked Green Beans were so cold when I got my order & I had more bacon than veggies. Serving sizes were smaller than desired. My Chicken Tenders were undercooked & poorly breaded & very greasy & slimy, which made me feel uneasy being in my 2nd trimester of pregnancy. I was really craving a southern meal & didn't expect it to be so disappointing. Also the Lip Smack"N Mac & Cheese was very little to be desired, very bland, tasted like dry noodles with zero cheese.
