• 11/22/24First timer here! I don't know how they make their fried chicken but I can easily say that it is probably some of the best fried chicken that I've ever had in my life, no exaggeration. The grits creamy and seasoned. The waffle fluffy and seasoned. The eggs scrambled with cheese and seasoned. everything I ordered was 10 out of 10 I absolutely recommend. I have not one complaint because every single thing was cooked perfectly and seasoned.

• 10/4/24The fried Fried Chicken was over cooked making it tough on some parts.Huevos Rancheros the tortilla pieces were very soggy and mushy, very little of the veg and pepper mix, the eggs were ordered over easy but they were close to raw had to cook the a little longer. As seen in the pic of Steamed Green Beans, they were tasty and cooked right, but the amount you get for $4.19 is a robbery, totally stealing.Cheesiest Grits were cooked ok but hardly any cheese. The Mac & cheese was tasteless, no flavor. The mash potatoes were ok, would be tasteless also without the gravy. The two extra 2 Eggs were also almost raw, had to cook them longer.

• 9/14/25Took a chance as we were in the area on vacation. So glad we did! The food was excellent and it was delivered quickly. The portion was ample, the vegetables were very fresh and cooked perfectly. Would definitely order again and highly recommend to anyone looking for good doors, made to order, at good prices, without a long wait.

• 5/12/26I’m genuinely disappointed with the quality of the fried chicken meal I received. The chicken was burnt, old, and so tough it was inedible. The biscuit was equally unpleasant — hard, stale, and clearly not fresh. Even the coleslaw, which should be cold and crisp, arrived warm because it had been packaged with the hot items. Warm coleslaw is not only unappetizing but unsafe.
Metro Diner once offered consistently enjoyable meals, but the decline in quality has become impossible to ignore. I truly hope they take steps to return to the standards they were once known for.

• 7/24/22I won't hold you. The Belgium waffle was delicious!!! I recently visited this location on vacation. While I don't condone eating leftovers too long, I was traveling so I didn't finish it until 2 days later. Just as crispy and pillowy fluff.
Bacon was perfectly crispy.
The eggs, fluffy and firm!
I do recommend. 10 out of 10!
If you have had it, you understand. If you haven't, it's a must.
