TIFFIN HALL, A COLORFUL AND FREE-SPIRITED MAN, CAME TO FORT WORTH IN 1920, WHEN IT WAS STILL YOUNG.
When Tiffin the gambler launched his first Mexican Inn Café at 5th and Commerce Streets in a downtow…
The tacos were very good, spicy with crispy shells. The tamales with sour cream cream sauce were extremely good, very flavorful!

The ground beef Deluxe Nachos are delicious. So are the Cheese Enchiladas. The onion in the enchiladas has a special zest to it. The homemade are sized like Fritos and are crisp and fresh.
One thing to avoid? The brisket is baad. I've tried it a couple of different times (in Street Tacos and in enchiladas) and it's been rubbery and tough.
The staff is friendly and helpful.

The Fajita Nacho Chicken is a joke, it's advertised to have queso in the pictures but all you get is saugy chips with shredded cheese and burnt chicken. I have never been more disappointed and appalled by an order of nachos. And to top it all off the sour cream was closer to cottage cheese or cream cheese, than sour cream. sour cream shouldn't crumble, and if you are going to offer nachos to go then you should to deliver it separately. I guess common sense is a gift.

I got the beef fajitas and was very disappointed. They were undercooked and so bland, I couldn't even eat them. Also, the "chips" are corn chips and are greasy and unsalted so are also bland. My previous order was beef enchiladas. They were undercooked also. The corn tortillas were under done. Won't be ordering from there again.
