Everything was exceptional! The birria tacos delicious! The carne asada tacos are delicious! The elote roasted corn was the best I have eaten. Everything was so flavorful and not overly seasoned. This was my first time trying this place and I have to say, I will be back.

I tried the Pizza birria this afternoon. I never had birria before so didn't know what to expect. I was amazed. Those women put their feet in it! It was tender and fresh. Big tortillas loaded with birria cheese in a pizza box. I could eat here everyday! Wish someone would've warned me this place was that good! I WILL ORDER AGAIN & AGAIN & AGAIN. I gotta call my doctor first thing Monday morning to be put on a GLP1!!! IF YALL ARE HESITANT TO ORDER FROM MI COCINITA DO IT YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. MAKE SURE YOU GOT YOUR STRETCHY PANTS ON!
wish I would've taken a photo before my husband and I devoured it! It lasted 5 minutes on the table!

The quesabirrias weren't even edible. They were old and hard/stale. It really sucks because I've had this food truck several times and thoroughly enjoyed them but this was very poor service. To even send this quality of food out your window is sad.

Today I decided to try Mi Cocinita Food Truck and got the steak sandwich with lettuce, mayo, avocado, and a jalapeño dipping sauce. I also got chips with cheese dip and homemade salsa.
Let’s start with the sandwich — the bottom bun was a little soggy, but nothing too crazy. The flavor was definitely there, it smelled amazing, tasted great, and the sauce was awesome. Overall I’d give the sandwich a 9/10.
Now for the chips and dip — the chips tasted a little stale, which hurt the score, but the cheese dip and homemade salsa were both really good. Because of the chips, I’d give that part a 5/10.
Overall, I’d give the whole meal a solid 7/10. The sandwich definitely carried the meal and I’d order it again.

Lived in Chicago for 23 years and have yet to find a good authentic Mexican restaurant in Owensboro. This is the closest I've experienced in this area and I've tried a lot of them. Good experience - will definitely try again
