La abuela' means 'Grandmother' in Spanish. Gilberth Cab, the chef and owner, learnt to combine the clean yet nuanced flavors of the Yucatan Peninsula from his grandmother.
Great bread, awesome amount of meat and veggies, mayo was perfect. Wish I had added more cucumber! Will be requesting 50% sweetness on the Brown Sugar Pearl Milk and the coffee jelly was amazing! 10/10 *and no extra waste in packaging always a plus!

One of my favorite places to grab lunch in Manayunk---They always have happy hour food and milk tea specials for 30% off. My favorites are the Brown Sugar Pearl Milk , shrimp bahn mi, and popcorn shrimp... Highly recommend as the food is always fresh and quickly delivered.

The taste of the matcha latte.. it's milk with a matcha whisk drop of actual matcha. The bowl has the biggest pieces of jalapeño like am I supposed to cut that myself? There's only four pieces of badly shredded and cut cucumbers... would not order from here again

Delicious! Great amount of food on each bite it's fresh I can taste all of the veggies the portions are perfect and I would eat this over again!

A top banh mi spot in Philly, even compared to places in the various Viet-heavy neighborhoods. Good quality + experimental/interesting/fusion flavors. All of the banh mis are good but faves are Classic and Getting Fancy. Drinks are good too
