I tried this particular teriyaki joint for the first time tonight. I ordered the Mongolian beef and an order of the pork gyoza. I'm very pleased with the meal. Mongolian beef was very tasty. you get a generous helping of steamed rice with the order. this could easily feed two people quite satisfactorily. the gyoza were light and crispy and quite tasty as well. this may be my go-to place for ordering teriyaki from this point on.

Pork Yaki-Udon was really quite good. Gyoza was decent aswell but the chicken was dry and had no sauce. The green salad is a complete joke = a small container of lettuce and carrots for $5.99! (something you would expect to pay less than $2.00 for)

Good prices, tasty food. The Short Ribs are a smaller portion but are very good quality. They are on the thinner side but there is no excess untrimmed fat which makes them more enjoyable. Reliable quality

Mikou Teriyaki has the best spicy chicken hands down. Their short ribs are pretty fantastic too. Everything is good and I don't think anything they serve would be a disappointment. Mikou's salad dressing is also far better than the rest of the Teriyaki places in the area including the "other" restaurant very close to Mikou. This time around I got the Chicken Yakisoba extra spicy and it was perfection with no shortage of chicken either. Suggestion: If you like spicy get the chicken extra spicy, it's the right amount of heat in my opinion. Besides, in my experience, getting extra spicy comes with the additional benefit of evading any real chance of having to share. Just saying...

Ordered spicy Chicken Katsu (Breast Meat) and they just put sweet and spicy sauce on it after they fried it making it all soggy, if I wanted to have it like that I wouldn't have spent the extra $2 to make it spicy and just spend the 60¢ for hot sauce
