We love the Sizzling Fried Fish with Sweet and Sour Sauce / 铁板甜酸鱼 - the best one we have found in Canberra so far,and generous serve too. Tried the hot Hot Rock Salted and Pepper Tofu / 椒盐豆腐, which was just amazing. The spice and herb and garlic topping is delicious, and the tofu itself was served piping hot and beautifully soft inside.

The Sizzling Fried Fish with Sweet and Sour Sauce / 铁板甜酸鱼 was a generous serving, with big fish fillet pieces. Stir-Fried Garlic Green Beans / 蒜头干煸四季豆 were super flavoursome blister fried green beans - vegetarians please note there is a little bit of meat sprinkled on top. The Vegetable Soup / 蔬菜汤 is a great clear soup with plenty of vegies - very comforting.

A delicious effort from Ming's, as always! The generous serve of fresh Stir-Fried Garlic Green Beans / 蒜头干煸四季豆 is a big favorite for us, and theVegetable Soup / 蔬菜汤 is perfect comfort food in the cooling weather. We order from Mings a lot, because we love it.

Chicken LaksaSteamed Dim Sim (2 Pcs) / 蒸烧麦
delicious, fresh and great on-the-go lunch selection for me, today. Perfect!
The only downside was the Dasher delivery left a mess outside not even at my door! I regret the tip I gave him. His unprofessionalism DOES NOT reflect on Mings food. Mings food is generous and always yummy. Tks.

Ok all you who remember Panda Chinese in Monash we've gone through most Chinese in the valley but nothing close to what they dished out at Panda. On 8/1/26 we decided to try Ming's Chinese in Woden. The food we ordered was quite good & I must admit it truly reminded me of the food we used to get from Panda Chinese. Overall, the food was good & well presented except for a couple of minor details. Compared to Panda I would give Ming's an 8/10. The prices are higher than at Panda & some of the dishes were smaller too, I would say it worth trying Ming's out, I know we will.
The honey chicken was dry as there was not enough honey used in the dish & the 2nd issue was the fried rice. Why is it that most of the Chinese places insist on using light soy instead of the dark soy. Please get it right we all grew up with fried rice having dark soy. I find the light soy variety has very little flavor & not dried out enough as you can still taste the water it was boiled with.
