Mirisata loosely translates from Sinhala to "spicy curry." Not everything we serve is spicy, but it is bursting with flavor and unlike anything else you can find in Portland.
I love Mirisata so much! Family Style Rice & Curry for 2-3 is definitely generously poritoned for 3 people. It's spicy so not for kids, but the depth of the flavor is unmatched. So good.

The weekend rice and curry special is one of the best deals in town. Every dish included has a completely different flavor that is unique to Sri Lankan cuisine. The "fish patties" filled with banana blossoms were packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. I'll definitely be ordering from Mirisata again!

Good food but portions are really small for the price. Paid $18 for the Pineapple Upside-Down Butter Cake so I assume it's a huge one. It was literally the size of my palm. pretty disappointed. Prices need to come down or portion sizes need to increase.

Mirisata is the best restaurant in Portland. Their food is incredibly special and full of flavor. I'm not sure you can find this food anywhere else in the world, as both Sri Lankan and plant-based. Their ethics are amazing. They are wonderful people.
