ROAST LAMB PITA At $21.00, the Roast Lamb Pita is overpriced considering you only receive half a whole pita. The extra pita offcuts provided are a sleight of hand and don't really make up for the small portion. So, I am writing this after eating it and I am left half-full and still somewhat hungry. That said, the roast lamb filling was of exceptional quality, tender, beautifully thinly sliced with an artisinal flair, without excessive fat and absent gristle and perfectly cooked and medium-rare as I like it. It had a bit too much salt for my taste. The pickles were of excellent quality and delightfully crunchy in texture which offset and perfectly complemented the tenderness of the thinly sliced lamb and the fluffiness or springiness of the pita. I wish I could have selected wholemeal pita, as I don't really like white flour. All in all, I am pleased with the order, just left a little hungry.
