• 5/23/25I get the mini plate and it is always more than I can eat. The chicken very good and the macaroni salad is amazing.

• 3/20/26My weekly go too! The chicken tastes like they grilled it out back. Coupled with the cool, crispy cabbage, makes it a great healthy meal for ONLY 6 bucks a piece. 20 bucks total, if you order sauces! I add the yeobo sauce and spicy mayo for an extra kick. I use the sauces sparingly, even though the yeobo sauce is only 25 calories! If I'm going to have a workout day where I burn a lot of calories, I will add the rice! Fantastic restaurant!!

• 3/14/26Long have I searched for a good plate of food like I had in Kona and Maui -
and my search has concluded.
this scratches the L&L itch (if you know you know) like no other place I've been in the Midwest.
this comes highly recommended, I will be ordering here every time I have a craving for teriyaki chicken and mac salad. it's the best I've had in the midwest by far.
I ordered the chicken katsu, which stayed crispy through the delivery to my shock and awe. The rice is just average, doesn't stay together well. But I can overlook it for the delicacy of the rest of the plate.
the portion was huge. I ordered a two meat 2 Meat Plate (Regular Plate), sub rice for Mac salad (got a scoop of rice on the side for a dollar something) And I couldn't finish it.
I repeat. I could not finish it.
I'm a big guy, 230lbs, 6 ft. I can eat.
I maybe got through half of it. maybe.
I will be back. Time and time again.
I am blown away, and I've never spent a better $22 on DD.

• 4/25/23The Blue Springs location is much better. This one is new so maybe they are working out kinks but the cookies were hard as rocks and the they gave me a micro serving of Mac. They are really nice but the food wasn't good.

• 1/1/25They went very stingy on the Chicken sides. I don't know if they only had enough for one or two, but they put very little chicken in each of the 3 Chicken side orders. No bed of cabbage in any container either. Definitely not worth what they charged. I've visited this place before & they always do a decent job. Bad workers tonight.
