Mofongo Island is amazing! My new obsession, everything I have had is DELICIOUS. Will not disappoint! Would order again and again! And the owner is spot on with her customer service, she has always made everything right and then some even if the fault was not of her own. Hands down my new favorite local place. Melanie deserves all the praise.

I loved the cheese empanadas, they were perfect! Fried plantains were super crispy. Will be ordering again!

Tres leches cake is divine, one of the best ever. I liked it best of the three desserts I tried. Beef Empanada is real good, so is the Philly Empanada. I liked the Sweet plantains best. . There was a substitution for the coleslaw with bacon for a rice side dish which was real good - had beans in it. I want to give attention to their packaging - what a delight - eco-friendly, reusable, resealable, insulated, attractive, so easy to open - thank you.

Burger was really good. One of the items I ordere was sold out, but the owner called to let me know and suggested substitutions. Items went packed in an insulated bag to keep warm.
