I ordered the rice bowl with pernil!! It was so good!! The best I've had since moving to CT!! I'll be making this a regular!! The Beef Empanada was flaky and flavorful!!

The Mofongo with shrimp that I received looked nothing like its photo. It was mofongo and shrimp only. There were no onions or green peppers in it like I was expecting there to be. It was plantains and shrimp only. No sauce added. Meaning it was dry. I could barely taste garlic in my shrimp and the shrimp while big had some cold spots in it. As for the plantains that made the mofongo they were hard in some bites with big pieces like it had not been smashed enough. The rest of the meal was ok. My husband ate that meal but said it was a small portion for the price. And for the price, we were expecting something diffeent from what we received. Hopefully this will help this business cater to its customers because we need them like they need us. They did however make good timing leaving us not to wait long for our dinner which was a plus for me.

Potato Beef Ball you really only get one? Wish u got more sauce or the chance to get more sauce cause the green sauce that starts witha c was amazing. My one Potato Beef Ball was good just thought most everything in this world comes with two balls. Just seems even right. Tostones were good Tostones were a bit hard but flavoredem up with my sauce that I wish I got more of. But def hard. Chicken Empanada was great but again pictures shows 3 why show 3 if u get one. Come on like everything was great but just show what u actualy get. No wonder the price was decent. Now I see why. You show more than what u actually get. Surprise but heres a bottle of Ginger Ale. Food is good. Dont make ur menu something it's not. Dont try to over sell. If it's one of something show one. And give the option for extra sauce the way ihad to use it to flavor things.

Order from here alot. I will say normally the food is good and flavorful, however tonight it wasnt. Pernil had no flavor, yellow rice was bland. Crispy chicken not good, I will say they need to change their oil more frequently as my chicken was almost black. Beans were not good my husband said and he threw them out. He said my Puerto Rican beans are way better. No consistency with the food from here. $60 wasted for DoorDash and it was delivered an hour late and was not hot.

I ordered beans, mayo ketchup & adobo chicken.
The rice is hard, no beans, no sauces & the chicken isnt adobo it's boiled chicken. Not worth it at all for th price.
Photos are extremely misleading.
