So Morels is now on my favorite restaurant list. The fish soup is a bit pricey but excellent and easy on the stomach. I will be ordering again. p.s. their fried snapper is also large and properly fried. Very good.

Food was very tasty with some inconsistencies. Cuban was pretty sloppy and smushed into the container that was obviously too small. The Pernil / Pork portion was pretty small for the price. Tres en Uno / Three In One was pretty good, but the quipe was insanely dry. Don't know if that's how it's supposed to be.

I was not too happy this time around ordering Desayuno Dominicano / Dominican Breakfast The last time i got it with salchichon and was given a very good serving of it. This time I ordered the longaniza sausage and was expecting a bigger serving of it and i only got 4 little ones. The mangu was very lumpy and not cooked properly, not buttery as it should taste. The egg was completely raw on top.

I ordered the Asopada de Camarones / Shrimp Soup, and I wasn't even sure if I got it cuz it looked like mushy red rice and not one shrimp was found. and I dug through. The inch of grease or oil on top was intimidating, to say the least. I'm not sure what happened this time cuz I order here often and never have a bad experience but getting shrimp soup with no shrimp for 28 bucks is heartbreaking.

Wow large portions! The Desayuno Dominicano / Dominican Breakfast was really good. The mangu was perfect, the only thing is the salchichon was not really the authentic Dominican salchichon i am used to. The texture was more like chorizo sausage. Not bad but not what i expected. The coke was terrible. Seems like the syrup was running out so it was like a seltzer water, no coke flavor, the color was light and to add to that, they put sooo much ice. So it basically got a small cup of flavored ice water. I stayed thirsty.
