The meat was well seasoned and the vegetables were very unique and flavorful. The Garri Fufu added body to the meal along with the rice. I will be eating here again.

I have had Motherland several times. The Peanut butter stew and the jerk chicken have been my favorite so far. The food is cooked fresh with generous portion sizes. I will definitely be ordering again. It is a fantastic experience to eat at the restaurant as well. Miss Sabina is a fantastic host, with an obvious passion for her craft. Highly recommend this spot.

You cannot beat the food at motherland kitchen. Every time I order I order WAY too much. The Spinach-Collards Pumpkin Seed Stew is so savory and I have to get it every time, along with a Pumpkin Seed Pattie. 3 greens- amazing. Jollof rice... you can't go wrong. I like all the different flavors of fufu and trying different flavors with each dish.

Food is delicious and perfectly spiced. Madame Sabina puts her soul and expertise in her food. The Veggie Pattie and pumpkinseed patty are enourmous filling and hearty, and the Eggplant & Zucchini Stew is so hearty and warming. For a Vegan like me it's the perfect place to grab a bite and my meat loving friends are satisfied as well.Just be mindful if you are dining in during busy times, it might take a while to get your food but it's well worth it.

Always an incredible experience! So delicious! I get it every time I'm feeling cold. Generous portions and so much flavour. Ox Tail Stew with Two Sides and Chicken Peanut Stew are my favorites.
