I absolutely LOVE this newer menu. Not much of a "gamey" person so was glad to see less game and more yummy food. Love the Moray Chips, the Strawberry salad and the Filet, cooked to perfection!

Food was good but packaging was horrible. The beef fricassee, cost $24.00, was turned on its side. The gravy got all over the other containers and all the utensil packages. There was very little gravy left to eat. I ordered dinner as a convenience, it was not convenient cleaning up so much gravy.My Dasher requested repacking the bag, but they would not. Also they did not include the water that I ordered and was charged for on the DoorDash app. It was not on the paper receipt attached to the bag.

The fried green tomato benedict is wonderful! The takeo ord was so we -packaged that the eggs were still warm and perfectly cooked--they did not break open in transit!
If you like the reg fried green tomatoes on the menu, you will love the Fried Green Tomato Benedict!!

Mount Vernon inn has great food, great employees when you visit in person. Delivery NOT! It is a shame when the expiditor cannot even check the order before it goes out! Had to get the missing item myself, so dinner was 1 1/2 hours later...sad really!
