Moya is hands down the best Ethiopian food in the city. I always have to order the veggie sampler and their beef and chicken are to die for!! Feels like im eating homemade food. Love love love this place. Moya you are awesome! Thank you <3

Injira was great but I wanted more flavor. It wasn't spicy or flavorful enough compared to east bay Ethiopian and Eritrean restaurants. Maybe it was an off day?
Quality was great though, you can tell they use fresh ingredients. Vegetables were colorful and crisp. Nothing tasted bad at all, to be honest it was overall really good but in comparison to other Ethiopian and Eritrean restaurants I've eaten at (tried many in DC/Maryland/Virginia and east bay), the flavors were too mild.

I absolutely adore this restaurant and get food here at least once a week-ish whenever I'm in the city. I always get the same thing because I love it. Doro Tibs, Ayd and Injera. Sometimes I splurge for baklava as well.
The Doro tibs tastes amazing the next day as well. I eat it hot. I eat it cold. It is my absolute favorite.

If I could give 20 stars I would. We get the vegan sampler about once a week. It's always solid and consistently delicious. We've tried other Ethiopian food but always come back to Moya, there's nothing better!

The serving for everything was more than enough for two people. We had leftovers for lumch the next day. The food itself was immaculate. The flavor was super rich but not overwhelming or overseasoned! We will definitely order again!
