Oh my gosh! Hands down the best pizza around. We did a Build Your Own small thin and medium pan and my goodness, both were absolutely delicious and FILLING!!! Definitely a must if you're anywhere close!

I passed by this gem in the winter of 2021. Closed. The sign said "Chicago Style Pizza." My hometown. I rolled my eyes and mumbled to myself "Yeah, right."
Long story short, I bought a house just a few blocks away. A perfect taste of home minutes away. Pizza perfection. Chewy firm crust. Intense thick sauce. My Go To is double sausage with mushrooms. Super fresh salad. A huge chefs kiss for their pasta. The desserts (especially tiramisu) are heavenly.
The atmosphere is like stepping into a small town friendly Uno's, Due's or Geno's East (IYKYK). Sinatra era music overhead. Nods to Chicago in the decor. The smell fills your lungs with joy.
The best part of Mr Gilberti's? The staff and management. Each and every person is kind, smiling and genuine.
This place is somewhat pricey, but worth every penny. My only other complaint is i wish the wine list was more extensive.
A must stop for pizza loving tourists, and a sweet treat for locals.

My favorite restaurant in town! Never disappoints and definitely will continue to re-order again and again and again. The sauce is like Italian sunshine, and I'm glad that they're using DoorDash!

Mama G's Seafood Ravioli is excellent. Had the Manicotti adding Alfredo. The pizza for the kids (thin crust) and Cheese Bread. All very good.

This is the first time that I have tried Mr. Gilberti's Place, we had the Mr. Gilberti's Specialty pan pizza w/pesto, it was exceptional, definitely will order again!
