absolutely Fantastic, I normally dine in since the staff is so friendly they treat you like your visiting your relatives that's how much they take care of you but I got a to go order this time since I was at work. The food is great so flavorful with the most Generous portions I've ever seen they did not skimp on the meat. overall very happy with my meal

The beef rendang bowl is very nourishing with some steamed veggies included. I always love the chicken sate too. Mr. Sate dishes truly feel like home and that's what I love about it. Homey, authentic and taste good.

I come from Dutch-Indonesian background and was happy to have Indonesian food in the US. I really wanted to like this place, but I am disappointed in the portions and quality of ingredients. The flavors were pretty good overall. The gado-gado was ok, nasi bungkus was good, but I ordered an extra portion of beef rendang for $5 and if what I was served counts as extra, I am really curious how little they must give normally... the 2 kalbi ribs were $11 and almost a whole kebab was inedible gristle. Before ordering I had read reviews that also said this same thing, but I was hoping they were just having a bad day. I don't think I can afford to give this place another chance at these prices unfortunately.

I've ordered food from Mr Sate too many times to count. The Bubur Ayam is always comforting and great for nursing me back to health. I will admit some days the quality and flavor seems better than others and today it was 10/10! They pack the bubur ayam and the soups in a layered container so that condiments can be added per preference and stay fresh, which is much appreciated. The Soto Betawi was also delicious as usual. I tried Tempe Mendoan for the first time and it was delicious with the accompanying sauce.

Mr Sate has been my comfort food for these few months. the food have been delicious and priced well with the portions. the Lontong is soft, Perkedel (3 pcs) is flavoured enough. tried their Nasi bungkus and was savoury.
