Our pizzas were a bit overbaked again, which is difficult to manage when one wears dentures. My husband's was more overdone than mine, and after a while he had to give up I would've gladly given up my leftovers for tomorrow (which is one of the reasons we each get our own) and shared my pizza with him, but green olives are like kryptonite to him. LOL! 

All that being said, that delicious Mr. Scrib's flavor still shone through! Everybody is entitled to a bad day now and then, and it will take a lot more than that for our loyalties to change. 😊 They are still our #1, as they have been for decades.

NOTE: This pertains to tonight's pizza ONLY. Everyone has a bad time of it now and then. This was one of those times. 

To say our pizza was overcooked would be generous. A great share of it was burned, some to the point that it was inedible and had to be thrown out.

The small portion that wasn't burned wasn't up to Scrib's usual standards, either. It didn't taste bad, really, but the toppings were very uneven, with several spots having little or no toppings at all (not full pieces, mind you, but many full 'bites').

The pizza that we received for dinner was not cooked  thoroughly and our extra topping looked like it was placed on after the fact  like it was forgotten about I have been ordering Mr. Scribs  pizza for the last 40 years and this is by far the worst pizza I've ever had from them. it really was an insult to the usually absolutely delicious one of a kind pizza. Our family has come to know and love￼

To my recollection, Mr. Scrib's (Laketon) was the first pizza place in town and the first pizza I ever had. 60ish years later, they are still making delicious pizza and will forever be one of my top 5 favorites. Not tat I needed it, but last night reminded me as to why! It was one of their best!

Mr. Scrib's is the 1st pizza I remember EVER having. I'm 60, and I think it was the ONLY pizza place in town then. I can't say it's my favorite pizza ever, but it's sure in my top 5. it brings back more fond childhood memories of having pizza with my family (such as my folks, who've since passed). 🥰

My husband's from OK. He's not as much a fan of pizza as I (he's a "meat & potatoes" guy), but I don't hold it against him. 😉 Especially since Scrib's is HIS favorite.  Second only to my homemade pizza, which he says is the best he's ever had (he's a keeper, I tell ya 🥰). 

Unfortunately, I'm not physically able to cook anymore, so, when Friday comes 'round (which we call "pizza day", because we eat pizza most Fridays), I usually let him choose where we order it from. 9 times out of 10, he opts for Mr. Scrib's, of course. ☺️

Last night's pizza was a tad overbaked. It was still hot & DELICIOUS, though! So, if we could give half-stars, I might've rated it 4.5, but it doesn't deserve los
