I ordered from Mukbang Burger with high hopes and while there were some positives, the overall experience had a lot of room for improvement.
The 6X6 Bacon Smash Burger Sliders were good overall. I really enjoyed the toasted buns and the slight sweetness of the rolls — that was a nice touch and paired well with the burgers. Flavor-wise, they were solid. However, the presentation could’ve been better. The sliders looked more thrown together than carefully crafted. The bacon was folded over instead of being laid flat and evenly, which made them feel a little rushed rather than thoughtfully prepared.
They also arrived lukewarm, which I understand can sometimes happen with delivery, but having them placed in a sealed container or transported in a hot bag would’ve helped keep them warm and fresh.
The 6X6 Hot Chick’n Sliders didn’t quite meet my expectations. Again, I loved the toasted buns and the slight sweetness — those were consistent highlights. But the chicken itself was disappointing. The photo on DoorDash showed well-seasoned, flavorful tenders, and what I received was pretty bland with very light seasoning. Being in Nashville, where hot chicken is known for bold flavor, I was definitely expecting more in both taste and presentation.
The Ranch/Jalapeño Ranch dressing wasn’t heavy, which I appreciated, because it would’ve made the sandwich soggy if it were drenched — so that part was done well.
The fries were another letdown. They weren’t served in the proper container as shown in the photos, and the container arrived open instead of securely closed. The fries weren’t seasoned, crispy, or golden brown. They were soggy, limp, and cold, which made them less than enjoyable and didn’t complement the meal at all.
On top of that, the food was not packaged with proper sealed containers, which affected both temperature and presentation. I also did not receive the dessert I ordered, which was disappointing.
Overall, Mukbang Burger has potential — the buns and some of the flavors were good — but better attention to seasoning, presentation, secure packaging, and order accuracy would really improve the experience. I hope these areas can be improved moving forward.
