• 12/16/23salads [potato, health and coleslaw] most delicious, but only sold in half pint containers. tunafish sandwich delicious.
but the pastrami sandwich was a great disappointment! obviously, from the 1 inch strips, made from actual brisket, but the slices were [machine cut at thinnest possible setting] paper thin, underlying why this is best handcarved with hefty slices: the effect of this slicing was that basically all i tasted was saltiness and not the traditional pastrami taste! :(
and, remembering the pickle barrels of the old lower east side where this variety was absolutely delicious, the pickles were also a real disappointment, incredibly untasty to me!
