• 11/6/21Finally found my favorite sushi place close-by! I've probably tried every local sushi joint, and have always been a bit disappointed. Nothing I've tried at Musashi is a disappointment. Some of my faves are the halibut sushi, shrimp sushi (tho all the sushi has been good) & the salmon roll. Their tempura is also very good (not at all greasy).

• 8/22/25Best sushi in the O.C. Hubby and I have been eating here for over 10 years and it's only getting better. Ordered the Sushi Salad for the first time and it was amazing! Seafood plentiful and fresh. I called and asked for gobo and they gladly accommodated w/o charge. And when we called to ask if they could add ice in the bag because it was so hot out, they were happy to accommodate. Only problem - they took away the sushi bar :(

• 1/15/23The very expensive, small serving of $22 (!!!) yakisoba was very greasy and low flavor. The egg rolls were greasy as well. The CA rolls were good, average. Our first try here, not coming back. I'm searching for a Japanese restaurant that has amazing sushi and noodles... still looking... missing Shogun!!!

• 10/4/25Chicken Teriyaki With Rice was tender, juicy and rice cooked perfectly. Best teriyaki sauce, seems like a teriyaki/soy sauce mix which works so well, sweet & salty.
Also the Tempura Ice Cream is a necessity. My god it's amazing.
Overall very underrated, simple and tasty.

• 4/7/24A little more expensive than the average spot but beyond worth it for the quality of fish. Butter salmon and yellowtail, massive rolls and they even have monkfish liver + halibut which is so hard to find. Love
