**Review: Brazilian Picanha Steak with Caesar Salad & Mashed Potatoes**
I recently tried this Brazilian-style picanha meal with a side Caesar salad and mashed potatoes, and overall it was a solid, satisfying plate — especially if you’re craving something hearty with a bit of freshness on the side.
**The Caesar Salad** (what we can see in the photo):
This looked surprisingly fresh for a takeout/container version. The romaine lettuce was crisp and bright green, not wilted at all. Generous shavings of Parmesan, crunchy croutons, and a good coating of creamy Caesar dressing tied it all together. The dressing had that classic tangy, garlicky flavor without being overly heavy. It was a nice, refreshing contrast to the richer main components. Would easily rate the salad an **8/10** — better than many restaurant Caesars I’ve had lately.
**Brazilian Picanha Steak**:
The star of the show. Picanha (that beautiful cap of fat on top) done Brazilian churrasco-style is always a winner when executed right. The fat cap renders beautifully, keeping the meat juicy and full of that signature beefy flavor. Hoping it was seasoned simply with rock salt and grilled over high heat — the way it should be. Paired with the salad, it makes for a perfect balance of rich and crisp.
**Mashed Potatoes**:
Classic creamy mashed potatoes are the ideal side here. They soak up any juices from the picanha and provide that comforting, buttery base. Assuming they were smooth with a bit of skin or garlic for texture, they round out the plate nicely.
**Overall Verdict**: 8.5/10
Great combo of flavors — the juicy, fatty picanha contrasted with the cool, crunchy Caesar and fluffy mashed potatoes. It’s a filling, well-balanced Brazilian-inspired meal that hits the spot whether you’re eating at home or grabbing takeout. The salad in particular traveled well and stayed fresh.
Would definitely order again, especially if the picanha has that perfect medium-rare pink center with a crispy fat edge. Highly recommended for steak lovers!

30-year griller here. Great portion of top sirloin - the way it was marinated and cooked made it taste like a much better cut of meat. Mashed potatoes delicious. Came with a nice salad. Made my own broccoli to go with meal. BUT...I probably wouldn't order without a discount.

Flank Steak was too gummy. Low quality meat, not worth the expense. I will not order it again.
