• 12/5/24incredible food, the kimchi was super super yummy, the miso was hot and delicious and the jekyll and hyde roll was beyond good. the salmon was perfectly cooked and the rice isnt too sour or too sticky, there is plenty of fillings in both halves of the roll and while there is a ton of sauce, it doesnt completely overwhelm everything else. absolutely phenomenal stuff

• 10/4/25Most importantly, the fish is always fresh. When ordering delivery/pickup, items are packaged so that nothing cold gets hot or vice versa, and staff are very friendly at pick up. I would recommend eating in over takeout/delivery since the service is fast and the atmosphere is cozy. Lunch and dinner boxes provide a large, filling meal at an affordable cost, and is an easy pick for the indecisive. Delicious, filling food for a price you can't argue with.

• 12/13/23$25 for that amount of mediocre sashimi is a crime. The miso soup was flavourless. Throwing hot sauce over top of a roll does not make something "spicy" perhaps try mixing it with the mayo for a better flavour. Disappointed for sure.

• 11/17/23The spicy tonkotsu ramen is AMAZING. I'm super picky with ramen and this is delicious, rich, spicy, and filling. Everything I was anticipating, will definitely be making this my #1 ramen location in Nanaimo and recommending to friends !
