The Ox Tails were good. Fall off the bone good. But there could have been like 2-3 more pieces on the plate for the price. I got a side of mac and corn on the cob. The corn was a little soggy, but good. The Mac wasnt up my ally, but my bf loved it. It wasnt nasty imo just not what I like for Mac and cheese. The rice was nice and soft. Overall the food was great, but for the price I do think you could get a little bit more of food; but I did also order during dinner rush hours.

Here is my honest review. As you see, the portion size is pretty small for a $17 plate. For $17 iwould have expected to have a larger portion of food. They were out of banana pudding which i was able to get a refund for. And out of chicken but i was able to get the fish instead. The fish overall was okay, just needed some more seasoning. Tasted fine with some hot sauce. The rice was rice. The cornbread was unfortunately dry and crumbled apart fast. The Mac and cheese was pretty tasty as well as the lemonade.

I have reviewed a few times. when they get your order right it is incredible.
the last two times I ordered they have been out of stock and either refunded or made their own adjustments. It's becoming quite frustrating. For example, I got the smothered pork Pork Chops Fried/Smothered with Mac and cheese and cabbage. it came with sweet potatoes and cornbread stuffing. The other meal I got though, Fried Fish, had the cabbage and potato salad sides so it seems they weren't out of cabbage.
last time they were out of Nana's Sweet Potato Pie and Nana's Banana Pudding and refunded. they did have desserts this time.
Most restaurants on door dash update the menu to reflect what is IN stock. I suggest doing that!
Also, please call if you are making adjustments. I would never order yams and cornbread stuffing. it's disappointing.
Taking these small steps would be incredibly helpful and would alleviate disappointed clients.
the food is delicious though!
