Overall, not a fan. This is my second time eating at this restaurant and I have been disappointed both times. This time I got the Birria Ramen and a Side of beans . The Birria broth had okay flavor but was unusually spicy. The spice level would be fine for a side of consomme with tacos but for the broth to be that spicy especially in a large quantity is rough.
Not sure how you mess up beans. They were undercooked (how? they're refried) chewy and mostly flavorless. They don't even sprinkle shredded or cotija cheese over the top like 95% of other Mexican food places.
Overall, would not recommend this place. Old Town Mexican or La Unica are far better options and super close by.

Everything here is delicious! The salsa goes above and beyond most places. The chips are fresh and homemade. The portion sizes are generous.

Too expensive to be basic.
The flavor is not there.
The Birria Ramen is disgusting! Hardly any meat just full of fat. At least half the cup was fat!
Be prepared to not receive any napkins, utensil or salsa.

I ordered from DoorDash and when I received it, I noticed that 1 item was not provided as it was listed as "sold out", which didn't reflect on my original order (small posole verde). When I opened the enchiladas I received, there were 2 sections - 1/3 chicken and potatoes at the top of the container and 2/3 tortillas cabbage and tomatoes at the lower portion. No chicken was in the tortillas - it was all separate. This was not enjoyable to me. The overall flavor was ok, but the separation was something I've never experienced and it was fairly dry - I expected the chicken to be inside of the tortillas, which was not at all the case.
