delicious, flavorful and good portions. The sweet plantains were perfect. The stew chicken fell right off bone. 10/10

See the photo of the menu item and compare it to what I received. I asked for a thigh and red beans in my notes but was sent one single chicken leg and rice for an $10 lunch order.
Times are tough for business owners but that's not a $10 meal in my photo. My total order was $30+ and just under $50 including tip and fees.
In the item details the owner highlights it specifies "no beans" but in the photo there are clearly rice and beans in gravy as well as the thigh I asked for.
My main disappointment is that there was no outreach to say... "beans are extra" or "we are out of thighs" and I was sent a huge amount of rice and three bites of actual chicken and some fat and tendon for $10.00. I eat there in person and the $10 lunch always includes a serving spoon of beans. I would have paid extra $3-$5 for beans with a simple callback to say he could not accomodate the (crystal clear) notes I submitted with my order. Sending a single chicken leg with this meal, at this price, with that specific photo advertised... is just not good business.

The pernil (Roasted Pork with any type of rice) is phenomenal, the rice is always flavorful, i at least get it 2-3 times a month if not more. The Beef and Cheese Empanadas and the normal beef are delicious. And their tres leches (Three Milk Cake) is the perfect dessert. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water, ngl.

Store never read customers instructions. Meat is very fatty but they give you a good amount of food for the price
