Beautifully packaged sashimi box decorated with orchids. The selection of fish was wonderfully fresh and flavorful and surprisingly filling. It was even packaged with ponzu which was a delight. Even the humble seaweed salad was lovingly made and obviously not from the local grocery store.
I've never had sashimi delivered. It was a bit pricey but a wonderful way to spoil yourself. Excellent quality food that is expertly prepared. You should treat yourself once in a while. You're worth it!

We were disappointed in our order tonight. We've ordered from Kazoku a few times and usually enjoy the food, but tonight our order was delayed and the food did not meet our expectations.
We placed the order, and it was estimated that it would be delivered at 7:30. We did not receive our order until after 8:25. While we understand that delivery times are estimates, the restaurant did not finish preparing the order until after the expected delivery time (according to the status tracker).
We were also disappointed in the quality of the food, particularly the beef tongue skewer. The beef tongue was poorly prepared; it was too thick and stringy. The chicken skin skewer was not crispy, either.
We hope that Kazoku is able to improve based on this review.

The fish in the sushi rolls was bland and did not taste fresh. Mussels were chewy and tough, was unable to actually chew and eat them. The quality is no where near what the menu prices suggest.

Don't accept special instructions if you aren't going to read them. Very disappointing. I eat here a lot and I love your sushi but I'm sad when it has an ingredient I can't eat.
