To change things up a bit, I've been searching around the city for really good burgers and I'm glad I found the NomNom Double Smash Burger . Absolutely delicious! Perfect amount of meat and cheese, hefty but you can still eat with your hands. NomNom Sauce is tangy with just a touch of sweet heat. Grilled onions are a nice touch. Husband says the Famous Banana Pudding is delicious too.

Pasta Bolognese!! Was expecting something much different. This bad a yogurt sauce around the bowl, very herby, and pasta cooked perfectly, not to mention a huge portion! Pleasantly surprised and a good deal for SF.

It's not very often that I leave a review, but holy crap, this Spicy Double Smash Burger slaps! Really good value, especially with their promo. Their fries are OK and a little soggy on arrival, but the burger is no joke! Super well packaged as well and very consistent.

So there has been a proliferation of burger places here on DD. Some are going for the $20+ dollar a burger crowd, others are looking to cash in on the smash burger trend. These guys are in the smash category. Here's the deal though. They do it well and for a good price. Nothing you don't need or want, No stupid brioche bun that falls apart the moment you pick it up. The cows don't sing kumbaya, and there ain't no one in the back hand crushing heirloom tomatoes under the moonlight making ketchup. Nope, it's just a good old fashioned tasty burger. The bun, on point, the beef, seasoned well and cooked proper. The pickles, generous and of good quality, sautéed onions, nicely caramelized. The cheese, American (as it should be). The burger sauce is nice and twangy with good depth. Pro-tip, order an extra side of the burger sauce. It's the best burger sauce of any of the available places on here in my humble opinion and well priced at a buck. The Fries are basic, medium thick cut and seasoned well. When they run discounts and deals they are a down right excellent value. I have finally found my good basic burger place that makes my stomach and wallet happy. It is indeed very NomNom.

Respectable Double Smash Burger and fries, but not as good as others. The beef was overpowered by the cheese and the onions made a difference but were not always evenly distributed. The fries went well with the burger but were not crunchy. I would order again to try the lamb and chicken, but would not rush back. If in the mood for a smash burger I'd go for Super Duper instead.
