Fresh and crunchy where stuff is supposed to be crunchy. Service is lovely and quick, with special mention to the daily generated North Melbourne's Homemade Potato Cake You get a selection of salts with each item, plus lemon which is essential for Minimum Chips and tato cakes. The attention to detail is excellent obvs.

The new owners have upped the already delicious standards of this, our local chip shop. The Minimum Chips and North Melbourne's Homemade Potato Cakes are really fresh. The tato cakes were especially delicious, with a great crunch to the batter. The service is consistently warm and friendly.
The Minimum Chips have been approved by at least 1 local cat who was allowed a little one as a treat.

unfortunately..my 3rd experience wasn't as good as my first 2. despite leaving specific 'instructions ' as to how I like my Potato Cakes cooked (as I've done twice before)..they weren't followed and far too burnt for me. the hot dog in Batter was also overcooked. the dim sims though were lovely. I'll give them 1 more chance in case they were having a bad day.
