We have dined in for breakfast and Door Dashed dinner and were both outstanding. Breakfast was fresh, hearty, and cooked perfectly — the portions were generous and everything had amazing flavor. Dinner through DD came hot and packaged very professional. The Dine-In service and owner made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Give it a try a new Juneau diamond.

I meant to take pictures but it smelled so good I just dug right in. The Smoked Turkey Collard Greens don't need any additional seasoning, which is as rare as finding collard greens in a Juneau restaurant.
The corn bread is sweet and very good, though I personally prefer savory. There's a lot of honey in it when it arrives, which I admit was very good. I did not try the topping that came with it since again I don't gravitate towards sweet.
The chicken portion was plentiful. They cook to medium gold, so if you want fresh tasting fried chicken, this is a good option. Very juicy and crisp. I prefer a dark crispy, but I haven't requested extra time yet to see if they'll accommodate that. Also, the French fry seasoning was fantastic. Southern style seasoning. Again I'd order more time because I like extra crispy food (I'm realizing in real time...) but they were very, very good. I kept walking past to grab more because the seasoning was just right.
The Biscuit was comparable to Popeyes but crispier, less dense, and less prone to suffocation. Very good. Grabbed half a biscuit and ate the other half on my way back. Didn't die without water.
Red beans and rice were plentiful, very well seasoned as well. Sauce was very light and not heavy/greasy. Again, very good. And the Mac n cheese was baked crispy just right. Super flavorful and rich.
If you like southern US influenced food, this is for you. And me. Will be ordering again.

It was my first time trying Northside, and I'll definitely be ordering again sometime. I had the Southern Sunrise Plate and was extremely satisfied with it. The chicken was deliciously seasoned and perfectly tender. I was given ketchup for the potatoes, but it would have been criminal to mask their flavor with it, in my opinion. The buscuits and gravy and the eggs were both very good, though definitely outshined by the chicken and potatoes.

The Buffalo Wings and Baked Mac & Cheese - A La Carte are fantastic individually and are also a great combo. Highly recommend the blue cheese with the wings!
