Jerry and Maryanne Nucci opened their first restaurant on Broad St. in 1994, realizing a long-held ambition of Jerry's, and then expanded to a second site on Foothill in 2000. The menu has stayed most…
Consistently delicious. I always prefer Nucci's to other pizza places because of the quality and they're not overpriced.

The salad was excellent but I was really surprised at the size of the pizza I paid $24 for. I had ordered a pizza for a party and it was the size of a personal pan from pizzahut, and the size was enough for only one person, not 4 people, unfortunately. So I'm just checking to make sure that' was what I actually paid $24 for

It was okay. There was a lot of cheese but the sauce was very watered down and hardly there. The bread/crust was incredible! It tasted like the best freshly made baked bread. Not my favorite pizza place in SLO though, I'll keep looking.

it was perfectly edible it was just what I would call exciting. It's all just kind of boring and bland. The parmesan chicken is good but a little overdone. The macaroni and cheese has almost no flavor except for bread crumbs. The breadsticks were equally as boring.
The meal filled my belly so I can't complain too much. was all "fine"..... probably won't order here again.

Best plain cheese pizza in SLO. We always start with plain cheese, because if don't get that right, no number of toppings will fix it. Nucci's passed with flying colors; excellent crust, sauce, and cheese. Next well try one with toppings and here's hoping they don't do the classic California pizza mistake of smothering it with too many toppings, turning it to soup. It would be so nice to find a place that understands a balanced pizza, fingers crossed!
