Typically the food here is good. I didn't truly enjoy it this time. the Mixed Rice w/Beans & Grilled Steak was mushy due to the mix of course, however I didn't expect it to be that type of mushy. Not my cup of tea. the steak was very good but there was some unwanted fatty parts. Lastly, I thought I'd receive a sweet plantain with it like in the picture to balance the flavor profile but there was none. I was kind is disappointed with that. Overall, these are just my opinions and should not have any impact on ordering from this place. I just would rather my beans and rice separate instead of already mixed as well as have a nice slice of the sweet plantain to accompany the dish. The food is pretty solid every time I go or order. Note* Looking at the menu, it's cheaper to order this dish when the beans and rice are mixed but would not recommend it.

Sunday 7th April was a disastef....cook was in a very terrible state....eggs....a glob of hard tasteless yellow glob, ..oatmeal cup had about 2 inches of dry oatmeal at bottom....water fillex with a bincn of floaters...yuck!!!!never tasted bad food like this before!!!..burnt french toast glorifiex with cherries...goodness!!
